Kingfish Meet Entry Procedures
The Tuesday prior to the meet will be the entry deadline.
Send your entries via e-mail to Coach Bob,
(
coach@kingfishswimteam.com),
becky.clinton65@googlemail.com
or (
robert.clinton@ramstein.af.mil
) or phone 06372 509448.
Our next meets is on August 28 at Rota and Fun Meet at Home.
Please have entries in to Coach Bob no later than 8pm on .
If I don't receive your entries I will assume that you will not be at the meet.
Here’s some considerations:
1) If you are close to a qualifying time in an event, go ahead and enter that event.
2) Choose at least one event that you have not competed in yet.
3) If you don’t know what the qualifying time standards are check here for Champs and here for Long Distance times. Print them out so you can see where you're at.
4) It is not too early to go for those qualifying times! Know your qualifying times!
5) If you notice that you still have quite a lot of time to shave off to qualify, don’t despair. Keep working to improve your times and you can get “pick-up” for Champs to fill out the heats. We had a number of swimmers in that category last year and a few of those swam so well at Champs that they placed in the top 8 finishers.
